Spring Garden Waldorf School is pleased to partner with Leo's Ark on this summer camp offering. Children will learn about the diversity of animal life around the world and campers will hike, explore, play games, hear stories, and make art projects. The children will enjoy encounters with many creatures from our world's rainforests, deserts, wetlands, grasslands, and more. Cost for the week of camp is $200. Registration is required. Hardcourt Academy: Basketball Summer Camp 6/11/2012 To 6/15/2012, 9a.m.- 1p.m.details
For ages 10-13; Pass, drible, and shoot better, learn how to play good defense, rebound with success, set a pick and then roll, etc. Learn from Theresa Knapp, an experienced basketball coach, and hone your skills! Registration Required. Hardcourt Academy: Basketball Summer Camp Registration Taught by a team of local coaches and former collegiate players, this program is open to both boys and girls. Project Nature Connect is a nature-based program using the Natural Attraction Ecology which puts people in touch with the restorative and healing powers of the natural world through sensory connection and direct perception using nature as the teacher. In addition to learning this process, children will learn techniques and develop skills for relaxing the body, stilling the mind, and being present in the moment. Each week will feature a nature-related theme that will incorporate learning, play, reflection, discussion, self-expression, creative imagination, and community building which recognizes and honors nature as part of the larger community as well as one's role in the web of life. This camp is for children ages 5-9. This action packed week of camp will bring animal loving camers up close and personal with a large variety of wildlife. Camp will run from 9a-3p and the cost is $200/week. Meet native wildlife and talk to a rehabilitator about the joys of caring for native wildlife. Miss Kathy, SGWSs Extended Care Lead Teacher and Lifeways Trained caregiver, will lead our summer care program for children ages 4y-8y. Three and five day options will be available. (Three days will be W, Th, Fr) Cost is $200/wk or $140/3 day option. Registration is required: Waldorf Summer Care
The day will follow a typical Waldorf rhythm including making and sharing a snack together, creative arts, nature walks, purposeful work in and out of doors, free play, lunch & rest/reading.

Using a unique approach to introuding and exploring different areas of science, Mr. Leo and his Animal Eductors provide an opportunity to explore geology chemistry, physics, biology, and earth science. This camp is for children ages 5-9. This fun loving week of farm camp will introduce campers to the abundance of life on a farm. Horses, goats, pigs, chickens, turkey, and many more farm friends will be joining us in our barnyard for the week. Cost is $200/week. Each day, campers will get a taste of farm life as they take on the chores that need to be done on the farm, but it won't be all work! There is always time for fun and games on the farm!
